Who can sail the boat?

There is no boat license need to rent our boats. The driver has to be at least 18 years of age and remain sobar during the whole trip. Our crew will instruct you on the boat, the sailing area and the safety equipment before your start.

How can I make a reservation?

Reservations are only possible via our booking platform here on our website, or you can come  directy to our place and we help you to find a boat.

You can also visit us without a reservation, but we cannot guarantee the availability of a boat.

Are there different boats to rent?

No, all boats are the same model with the same equipment.

Can I cancel a booking?

Yes, you will get full refund as long as you do it  no later than 24 hours before your booking starts. Send an email with you name, booking ID, time and date to info@boatnow-luebeck.de.

When do I have to appear?

15 minutes before the planned departure time, so that we have enough time for the safety instructions and briefing on the boat.

What do we need to bring?

We require a valid ID card from the captain. The passengers do not have to identify themselves.

How many people fit in one boat?

Due to safety and insurance reasons no more than 6 people are allowed in one boat – no matter of age.

Do you provide life jackets? Also for small children?

Yes, we have life vests in all size classes, starting from 5kg.

How long does it take for one route?

Each route takes a little less than one hour.

Can I drink alkohol on the boat?

The person who steers the boat must stay sober. People who are obviously intoxicated will not be allowed to rent a boat.

How fast is the boat?

The maximum speed is 6 km/h, which is also the allowed maximum speed in this area.

Where can I go?

The area is limited. There are two routes you can choose from. You can see them on our map.

What can I do in case of an problem or emergency?

There is our phone number for help and technical support printed on every boat. In serious emergencies (health problems), call the german emergency number 112 directly.

Can we bring our dog?

Yes, dogs are always welcome.

Can we bring food and drinks?

Yes, absolutely. But please keep the boats clean.

How can I pay?

We accept all major credit cards – no cash payment.
